For certified butcher and industry leader Michelle Sanchez, working with meat has long been a source of joy as well as a deeply rooted responsibility. On May 13, Join SheChef Co-Founders and Co-Hosts Elle Simone Scott and Chimere Ward as we learn all about meat- from the pasture to the butcher to the cook. That’s right, it’s SheCuts Meat Camp, y’all! We’ll learn about how Niman Ranch meat is raised, how a butcher does what she does, and about one of our favorite cuts: beef chuck roll. It wouldn’t be a SheChef event without some time in the kitchen, so legendary Chef Anita Cartagena will join us to demo her recipe for Lomo Saltado.
